Amiqa Joins Lanzadera, One of Europe's Top Startup Accelerators

Amiqa has been selected to participate in Lanzadera, a prestigious startup accelerator based in Valencia, Spain. Recently ranked #7 among all European accelerator hubs by the Financial Times and the highest-ranked in Spain and Portugal, Lanzadera is a premier program for startups looking to scale their impact.

Amiqa, a Swedish startup, supports small hotels by providing artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions that deliver actionable insights, accurate predictions, and expert recommendations to optimize hotel operations. The company is currently piloting its technology with a select group of small hotels in Central America and anticipates expanding its early access program.

Participation in Lanzadera will enable Amiqa to enter the Spanish market — the second most visited country in the world. The program will also facilitate expansion into Southern European and Latin American markets, leveraging the resources and network of a well-established startup accelerator hub.

Lanzadera is part of the Marina de Empresas ecosystem, which includes the EDEM business school and the venture capital fund Angels. Marina de Empresas was founded by Juan Roig, the majority owner of Spanish supermarket giant Mercadona, known for his strong commitment to community and values-driven entrepreneurship.

Startups in the Lanzadera program are introduced to Mercadona's successful business management model, Calidad Total (Total Quality), structured around five key pillars: customers, employees, suppliers, society, and capital.

According to Lanzadera, 1,000 startups applied to the March 2025 batch of the program, with only 125 companies selected — including Amiqa. Since its inception, Lanzadera has accelerated 1,500 startups, boasting a survival rate close to 80%.

Amiqa looks forward to leveraging this opportunity to bring innovative and accessible technology solutions to small hotels across Spain and beyond.
